The GREAT NORTH ART SHOW at Ripon Cathedral is an annual exhibition of contemporary paintings.

The free exhibition promotes the work of invited professional artists and print makers.

This year we are also hosting an exhibition of art from fifty Yorkshire schools.

The show opens on August Bank Holiday Saturday 28th August 2009 and runs for 3 weeks until Saturday 20th September 2009.

All works of art displayed are for sale. Proceeds go to the 'Ripon Cathedral Development Campaign' which helps to maintain the fabric of the cathedral.

The 'Art Trail' consists of companies around the city exhibiting art during the exhibition. Clicking the link on the right shows this years route.
